About me

Clara Liu is a filmmaker, illustrator, and Art director, specializing in traditional 2D animation and motion design. She studied at several art schools in Paris, including Gobelins, École Boulle, and Ateliers de Sèvres, where she earned diplomas in applied arts, motion design, and animation film direction. After living in Milan, in the south of France, and traveling through Asia, Clara is now back in Paris.

She collaborates with a wide range of industries, such as fashion, cosmetics, sports, technology, and music (directing music videos supported by the CNC and selected for numerous festivals). Her clients include Clarins, Vespa, Audemars Piguet, Hermès, Orciani, Heetch, amo…

For Clara, every project is an opportunity to push the boundaries of reality, experimenting with perspectives and creating unique atmospheres through animation. Whether working independently or with a team, she focuses on creating innovative and bold visual experiences, exploring new ways to tell visual stories by blending techniques like digital collage, 2D animation, and live-action footage.
